Job Overview

We are seeking a mid-level Full-Stack Engineer with a focus on recommendation systems to join our team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing recommendation algorithms and end-to-end features for our AI-driven coaching platform. Working closely with engineering, product, and machine learning teams, you’ll help deliver personalized, scalable, and secure user experiences. This role requires expertise in Node.js, Next.js, React, Python, and familiarity with recommendation systems, LLMs, and security compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 27018).

Key Responsibilities

  • Recommendation Systems Development: Build, optimize, and maintain recommendation algorithms using machine learning techniques and LLMs to deliver personalized coaching content and insights.
  • Full-Stack Development: Develop and maintain web and mobile applications using Next.js, React, and Node.js, ensuring responsive, secure, and performant features.
  • Backend & API Development: Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and Python, focusing on scalability and integration with recommendation systems.
  • Machine Learning Integration: Collaborate with the ML team to integrate and deploy recommendation models into production, ensuring data security and compliance.
  • Security Compliance: Work with compliance teams to implement and audit features to meet SOC 2, ISO 27001, and ISO 27018 standards, ensuring secure data handling in recommendation systems.
  • Collaboration: Partner with product, design, and ML teams to translate requirements into user-centric, compliant solutions.Continuous Improvement: Contribute to platform scalability and performance by auditing and enhancing recommendation system accuracy and responsiveness.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years of full-stack development experience, with hands-on work in recommendation systems or machine learning-driven applications.
  • Tech Stack Expertise:
  • Frontend: Proficiency in Next.js and React for building responsive, secure, and performant user interfaces.
  • Backend: Strong knowledge of Node.js for scalable APIs and microservices, with experience in Python for data handling and ML integration.
  • Recommendation Systems: Familiarity with building or integrating recommendation algorithms, ideally using LLMs or NLP techniques.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Basic understanding of SOC 2, ISO 27001, and ISO 27018 standards, with experience in secure coding practices and data protection.
  • Integration Experience: Experience with Slack and Microsoft Teams integrations, including bot development and webhooks.
  • DevOps and Cloud: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred), with an understanding of cloud security best practices.Agile Development: Experience with agile methodologies and tools like Git and Jira in collaborative environments.
